The Dublin Painting and Sketching Club’s Annual Exhibition 2022 will open late to coincide with Culture Night activities in Dublin City. The work of its members embraces all mediums and styles, within the broad genre of representational art. Each artist exhibits two paintings in the annual show which is made up of almost 200 works. “Bringing artists together, holding public exhibitions and stimulating artistic taste” is the founding principle of this nearly 150 year old club, whose historical members have included William Stokes, John Todhunter, and Bram Stoker, author of Dracula.

A quartet of singers from Chamber Choir Ireland welcomes audiences to the Windmill Quarter for ‘The Birds and the Bees Quartet’, with short performances taking place every half hour. Culture Night at 1 Windmill Lane

A quartet of singers from Chamber Choir Ireland welcomes audiences to the Windmill Quarter for a concert of light-hearted early music, contemporary Irish works, and favourite partsongs—full to the brim with birdsong, cheerful foresters, floral garlands, and woodland nymphs. Featuring works by Clément Janequin, Thomas Morley, Palestrina, Rhona Clarke, Stephen McNeff, Eoghan Desmond, George Macfarren, and Henry Bishop. The venue will also be hosting an art exhibit for the Dublin Paint and Sketch Club for the evening.

1WML is the flagship building within the Windmill Quarter, a vibrant business and cultural district inspired by a rich connection to creativity and the arts, based at the very heart of one of Dublin’s most accessible locations.
