The Embassy of Portugal invites you to participate in a celebration of Portuguese Culture by joining us for the screening of the documentary ‘What a Tourist Should See’, followed by an informal social gathering. Directed by José Fonseca e Costa in 2011, the documentary ‘What a Tourist Should See’ is made available in English and has a duration of approximately 60 minutes. Synopsis: The poet Fernando Pessoa takes us on a journey of discovery around Lisbon and unveils some of its mysteries. Basking in the beauty of Lisbon’s most famous views and monuments, the viewer is also introduced to some hidden gems throughout this journey, becoming acquainted with Portugal’s capital and the sights of the river Tagus. A light reception will follow the film screening.
