Come along on Culture Night for a history tour of Griffith College South Circular Road campus. Dr Robbie Smyth, an expert on Griffith College’s history, will guide you around the campus, recounting stories about the buildings’ different ownerships and uses over the centuries including The Richmond Bridewell 1813-1892, Wellington Barracks 1892-1922, Griffith Barracks in the Irish Civil War 1922-23, and Griffith Barracks 1923-1991.
Dr Robbie Smyth is an author and the head of the faculty of journalism and media communications at Griffith College.
