Dublin City / South Georgian Quarter

Two young musicians, saxophonist Michele Paolino and guitarist Davide Di Ienno, will perform some famous soundtracks from the Italian cinema presenting a program titled ‘Sound weaves’.

Program:
1. ‘Academy award music’ suite inspired by the masterpieces of Maestro E. Morricone
2. ‘The Tale of Viktor Navorski’ from the soundtrack of ‘The Terminal’ film by J. Williams
3. ‘Goodbye Games’ dramatic suite with pieces from Trovajoli, Rota, Piersanti
4. ‘Italian comedy!’ the most beautiful pieces by Piovani, Rustichelli, Tempera and Crivell

Concert takes place in the Pavillion room.

Eliana Valentini (visual artist, dance teacher & performer) will guide you through the history and meaning of these dances, sharing her personal experience and passion. She will also teach you the basics steps and explain the rhythm and music structure. No previous dance experience is required. Workshops take place in the Pavillion room.
