Liberties College of Further Education

Heritage Crafts, Traditional Story-telling, Re-enactments, Tours and More

In Person

Come along to practical demonstrations of the traditional crafts of weaving, lace-making and felting in a true reflection of the history of the Liberties. Alongside this, Liberties College will be holding traditional story-telling and re-enactments by professional story-tellers, actors and tour guides with a passion for the Liberties area of Dublin. Or drop in on a demonstration of Naked Raku firing of ceramic work in the traditional Far East style.
Enjoy tours of the Liberties area and Liberties College covering its history from the time it was built by the Guinness Family and known as “The Bayno” to its current use as a prominent CDETB College of Further Education.
All of these events will be hosted by current and past students and teachers of Liberties College, so come along, step back in time and allow yourself to be informed and entertained and experience what’s behind the walls of “The Bayno”!
