Guided tours of Marsh’s Library, one of Dublin’s hidden gems, will take place every 15 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis. Follow in the footsteps of Jonathan Swift, James Joyce and Bram Stoker past the famous reading cages. Very little has changed since the Library first opened to the public in 1707. Suitable for all ages. The tours will introduce visitors to the historic building, one of the few Georgian structures still used for its original purpose and regale them with some of the quirkier stories associated with our visitors. The tour will finish up in Marsh’s hidden garden, which is normally closed to the public.
