Ormond Art Studios was founded in 2009 by a group of graduates as an artist-led initiative in Dublin city. The space has since become a platform for emerging visual artists, supporting the development of arts practice through affordable studios, critical discourse and space for residencies and exhibitions. The studios are made up of eight artist studios and a project space on Ormond Quay in Dublin. Ormond also offers a peer supported annual Graduate Residency as well as hosting various residencies, group crit sessions and exhibitions throughout the year. This year for Culture Night, Ormond will be hosting an Open Studio evening, inviting the public into the studios to catch a behind the scenes glimpse of a working studio space, chat to the artists and gain an insight into their practice.
