Join artist Róisín White in this open space gallery, where you will be invited to explore the exhibition and spend some time making your own miniature sculpture to add to the installation. White’s exhibition These Dark Shapes, as part of the Artist-Initiated Projects (AIP), explores the catharsis in making totems of your intense emotions and how building your feelings & living with them as tangible objects has helped her navigate grief and a complicated year.
Róisín invites you to take a look at that feeling you’re holding in your chest, that tension in your shoulders, and make a physical object to represent it. AIP is an open-submission, annual programme of exhibitions focused on the professional development of artists in a supportive, peer-led environment. Pallas Projects/Studios gives contemporary Irish artists a space for individual creativity and experimentation, pushing back against the hunger of developers and landlords.
