The Clondalkin Drama Group was founded in 1957. This event will appeal to those who love the classics with an excerpt from the comic drama ‘Blithe Spirit’. This play was first performed in the West End in 1941 and is still entertaining audiences world wide. The Clondalkin Drama Group will perform some classic scenes and give a flavour of Noel Coward’s timeless script.

So, come along and hear some lovely singing from a long established Tallaght choir. A Musical Evening with Sounds Ensemble

‘Sounds Ensemble’, under the baton of Terry Clancy, will fill the Tallaght Theatre with wonderful music from all genres and eras. ‘Sounds Ensemble’ is a community band based in Tallaght. The band consists of woodwind and brass instruments. There is something in the evening programme for all tastes, with music from Beethoven to Billy Joel and a few familiar musical medleys thrown in, including ‘Oklahoma’ and ‘Les Miserables’ and much more. This uplifting programme will put a pep in your step and have you dancing in the aisles!

A Musical Theatre Treat

Take some time out from reality to enter the musical theatre world of fantasy! Firstly the senior infant children from St. Killian’s Junior Primary School, Castleview, Tallaght will perform “Jemima Jane and Harriet Bear’s Garden Adventure”, an original play with song and dance directed by Edel Gillespie. This will be followed by the 5th year students from Firhouse Community School taking to the stage with and excerpt from “Charlie -The Musical” with familiar characters from Veruca Salt to Willy Wonka, directed by Lorna Pratt.
